Donate food
Our foodbank relies on the goodwill and support of the local community - of people just like you.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

The Tesco and ASDA permanent collection points are intended for food that has been purchased in store and are for the use of in-store shoppers only. Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought to the Collection Point in-store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.
We always welcome donations and use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally, we send food to other nearby foodbanks or local charities to support their work as they feed the most vulnerable in society – particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people in need, wherever in the UK they are.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
