Clients suffering from domestic abuse can ‘Ask for ANI’ (pronounced Annie) at a participating pharmacy; a trained pharmacy worker will offer a private space where they can understand if the victim needs to speak to the police or would like help to access support services such as a national or local domestic abuse helplines. Owning a pet can often be a barrier to someone fleeing domestic abuse and accessing refuge / emergency accommodation, so The Dogs Trust offer free dog fostering across Bedfordshire until they are able to be reunited with their pet.

Provides free, confidential, non-judgmental, and independent support to anyone who is living in Bedfordshire and experiencing any kind of domestic abuse. Their outreach workers support women and men who are still living at home with the alleged perpetrator(s), those that are still suffering the effects of historic abuse as well as those who are moving out of a refuge and those who are already living in a new community.
